8512 Outpatient healthcare activities This class includes: - consultations and treatments performed by medical personnel specialized in general medicine or other specialties (including surgery). The activities can be performed in hospitals, clinics, polyclinics, dispensaries, medical offices, which provide outpatient treatments. This class also includes: - the activities of private consulting doctors, in hospitals, as well as the activities carried out in clinics, such as those attached to enterprises, schools, nursing homes, trade unions and trade union confederations, but also at patients' homes. Patients are generally hospitalized on an outpatient basis and can be referred by a general practitioner to a specialist. This class excludes: - paramedical activities of midwives, nurses and physiotherapists, see 85.14
